Admission Requirements If you completed a 2-year Paramedic diploma: - Paramedic diploma from a Canadian institution
- 4U English or equivalent at 60%
- Successfully completed the Advanced-Emergency Medical Care Assistant (A-EMCA) certificate or Canadian equivalent
- Worked a minimum of 6,700 hours as a land or air paramedic in a Canadian Paramedic Service Organization or Canadian Emergency Medical Service (EMS) as detailed in an employment letter
If you completed a 1-year Paramedic diploma: - Paramedic diploma from a Canadian institution
- 4U English or equivalent at 60%
- Successfully completed the Advanced-Emergency Medical Care Assistant (A-EMCA) certificate or Canadian equivalent
- Worked a minimum of 6,700 hours as a land or air paramedic in a Canadian Paramedic Service Organization or Canadian Emergency Medical Service (EMS) as detailed in an employment letter
- One of either:
- An Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) or Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) graduate diploma, or
- A signed and dated Continuing Education & Professional Development Training Form, found in your Laurier Applicant Portal following application
